You're both running and getting shot at and, like, Robin's the sidekick? Why the hell is he the sidekick? He's right in front of the gun too. That's kind of what's cool about the Green Hornet. They're both badass, Kato looks a little cooler. They both kick ass, Kato kicks a little more. We had a sidekick movie planned and when it ["The Green Hornet"]came to us we just looked at each other and said, 'This is it.' ... The sidekick just seemed like the perfect application of our buddy-comedy-sidekick male love story.
