- Jayne was a knockout blonde bombshell, who might have well have found herself in vogue during the 1950's. However, during the rather more austere war years, she made little headway in movies, except in bits and walk-ons as unnamed hard-boiled blondes, 'girls' or 'models'. Her few featured roles included the Monogram exploitation flic Les Enfants du Marché Noir (1945) and the Sam Katzman serial Who's Guilty? (1945). Not enough to forge a career with. She retired from acting in 1951.
- Jayne Hazard was one of 13 starlets voted a 1940 Baby Star, a promotional effort to repeat the success of the Wampas (Western Advertisers) Baby Star selection.
