- Daisuke Gôri est né le 8 février 1952 au Japon. Il était acteur. Il est connu pour Ninja Scroll (1993), Dragon Ball Z : Fusions (1995) et Death by Degrees (2005). Il est mort le 17 janvier 2010 au Japon.
- His voiceworks for video game and anime characters are mostly known to growl and grunt when excited, angry or hurt in battle.
- Suffered from diabetes mellitus a few years ago that his vision was affected by retinal detachment as a result of the disease. He has then suffered from prolonged depression and kept complaining to coworkers of not being able to read the script and not being able to do his job like he wanted to before as a result of his visual impairment. In 2010, his body was found lying on his stomach with blood dripping from his wrists in the middle of the streets of Nakano, Tokyo. The police found a utility knife and suicide note to his family in his body and ruled his death as suicide by wrist cutting.
- Best known as the Japanese voice of Bass Armstrong in the Dead or Alive video game series by Tecmo Inc.
- After his death, his ongoing roles were replaced primarily by Ryuzaburo Otomo and Unsho Ishizuka, as well as other voice actors.
- He and Kevin Michael Richardson did the Japanese and English voices of Cobra Bubbles from Lilo & Stitch and Scott Dolph from Metal Gear Solid 2 respectively.
- Voiced Diesel in the Japanese dub of 'Thomas and Friends' from Seasons 2 and 3, and Season 7 and 8.
