William Gibson(1914-2008)

Most of his work is about helping people, such as his play, "The Miracle Worker", based on Helen Keller's teacher, Anne Sullivan.

[Following his wife's death] Writers go bad when the angels desert them. Dylan Thomas was a marvelous poet and drank himself to death. Somewhere along the way the angel deserted him. An angel has left me too, but the writing angel is still with me.
