Biographie

She and her mother Herta Ware both made guest appearances on Star Trek: La nouvelle génération (1987) and La belle et la bête (1987).

Daughter of actors Will Geer and Herta Ware. Mother of actress Willow Geer-Alsop and Megan Geer.

Since the death of her father Will Geer in 1978, she has served as the artistic director of the family's beloved "Theatrical Botanicum," an outdoor theater in Topanga Canyon, California. She has displayed her talents as both director and actress in scores of productions over the decades, including "A Streetcar Named Desire," "Harold and Maude," "Medea" and "The Madwoman of Chaillot."

Mother, with Ed Flanders, of Ian Geer Flanders; mother, with Peter Alsop, of Willow Geer and Megan Geer.

She is currently an acting professor at UCLA's School of Theater, Film, and Television, working both with undergraduate and Master of Fine Arts students.
