- Karl Etlinger est né le 16 octobre 1879 à Vienne, Autriche-Hongrie. Il était acteur et scénariste. Il est connu pour Valse d'amour (1930), Die Fledermaus (1931) et Der Hexer (1932). Il était marié à Margarethe Horn et Maria Musehold. Il est mort le 8 mai 1946 en Allemagne.

- Balding, heavy-set character actor, who was a familiar presence in German films of the 1920's and 30's. Best remembered for his roles in La rue sans joie (1925), Pilote malgré lui (1941)) and Ce diable de garçon (1944). He also had a distinguished career on stage in Berlin. His wife, who was half-Jewish, was murdered by the Nazis at the Ravensbrück concentration camp in March 1942.
