Although being a successful composer, he claims he neither can sing nor write notes properly.

Anders Eriksson is Claes' six year younger brother.

In 1995, he wrote new Swedish lyrics for the French song "C'est si bon" which was written in 1947 by André Hornez (lyrics) and Henri Betti (music). The title song became "Direktör" and the song was recorded by Peter Rangmar. The original Swedish lyrics were written by Gösta Rybrant in 1950.
