- Lost his parents during World War II. Emigrated to Britain in the aftermath of the Hungarian Uprising of 1956. Acted on stage and in films, the latter finding him frequently as Russian defectors, KGB agents and Nazi officers.
- Trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.
- In 1963 he was playing Christos in Christos Nazrites (Christ of Nazareth) being produced by Carl Foreman at the Zerbos Studios in Athens in 1963 but it was unfinished.
- Had a part in the film Tamahine (1963) but it was cut out.
- Escaped from behind the Iron Curtain in a horse and cart soon after the Hungarian uprising.
- His passion was writing in English and wrote a children's book.
- After arriving in England he joined the Old Vic Theatre School at Bristol.
- He got very good notices for his part in The Naked Edge with Gary Cooper.
- He spent 3 years at Budapest Theatre School.
- At on time he was a night club singer in London's West End.
