Was discovered by Laura Matook (a friend of casting Director Valerie McCaffrey) at the Kinko's on Riverside and Pass in Burbank around midnight. Laura looked at Eric's resume, and wrote a referral note on a post it, telling Valerie McCaffrey to audition him for anything she had. Valerie brought him in for Problem Child 2. Eric originally read for a small part of the mover, but was then auditioned for the part of Murph (the Bully of the 6th grade). Eric was age 24.

Is a Black Belt in Kaju Kempo Karate, Brown belt in Okinawan Kempo and Weapons, A Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu jitsu (Street Sports). Studied JKD from Cass Magda. Still trains in Brazilian Jiu jitsu when he is not injured.

Was a groomsman at Sherri Shepherd's first wedding.

Is good friends with Mike Barker (American Dad).

Was discovered by Andrew "Dice" Clay at the Comedy Store. Andrew auditioned him in the outside bar. Andrew took him on tour with him in 1992.

Graduated from the University of Arizona.

Coached at Salpointe High School in Tucson, AZ. While attending and debating for the University of Arizona. He qualified 3 people for the National Forensics Tournament.

Debated for the University of Arizona, from 1986 to 1989, and his debate partner was David Gorosh.

Is a 1 stripe Black Belt in Brazilian JiuJitsu at Gracie Barra Glendale, CA.
