The duo of Triple H and Shawn Michaels are two of the prominent figures in WWE today. They began their careers as professional wrestlers and went on to become game-changers and trailblazers, both wearing their wrestling gear and later on donning a corporate suit with major responsibilities.

Shawn Michaels was one of the top attractions for WWE back in the mid-1990s. He then formed D-Generation X with Triple H, Chyna and Ravishing Rick Rude which went on to become a highly popular faction in the Attitude Era.

The issue of relationships in the world of WWE is a contentious one. Until relatively recently the company has remained surprisingly unwilling to acknowledge existing relationships between stars in storylines, and extra-industry wives and girlfriends seem not to exist in the same terms as those attached to movie stars and other sportsmen.
