He received an Honorary Doctorate of Letters at the University of Saskatchewan, his alma mater, on June 6, 2017.

In the mid-1980s, he was a familiar face to audiences at Neptune Theatre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. He appeared in many productions including "West Side Story", "Twelfth Night" and "Romeo and Juliet".

Guest-starring role as Internal Affairs Agent Richard Sullens on "Prison Break" (mars 2007)

He is the only actor to appear in both the pilot and the series finale of Au-delà du réel - l'aventure continue (1995). He played Dave Stockley in Sandkings (1995) and Colonel Sage in Human Trials (2002).
