Rajesh later did Awam directed by Ravi's father B.R.Chopra in 1987, which was a super-hit.

Son Kapil Chopra is a assistant director. He was to turn actor with the film " Kohinoor" but it got shelved.

Son Abhay Chopra is a associate producer and has directed short film. He was to direct a period film " Mitti" which got shelved. He is always mistaken for Vidhu Vinod Chopra's nephew actor, director Abhay Chopra aka Vikram Chopra aka Vicky Chopra.

Daughter Puja married a gentleman named Varun Talwar (Son of Naresh Talwar and Kumkum Talwar) in 1996 and is settled in Delhi. She sang as a child in the film Vijay (1988) with Anupam Kher.
