Admitted in an interview in 2005, that his favorite character of the four that he played was Nute Gunray.

Played four different characters in the Star Wars prequel movies - Viceroy Nute Gunray (Episodes 1-3), Ki-Adi-Mundi (Episodes 1-3), the co-pilot on the ill-fated Republic Cruiser (Episode 1), and Neimoidian Senator Lott Dod (Episode 1).

As he played both Nute Gunray and Ki-Adi Mundi, he had two death scenes in Star Wars, épisode III : La Revanche des Sith (2005).

[on his role as Ki-Adi Mundi in "Star Wars"] When I first saw the design, I just thought it was amazing, because it incorporates so many different things. To me, he looks part Native American and part European, and he's got a wonderful, wise face. Once I'd seen that design, I had a pretty good idea of what he should be like.

[on his characters in Star Wars] I'm very fond of them both for different reasons. With Ki-Adi, I enjoy playing this very wise man who is part of the great council. You get the feeling that he is kind of like your uncle, because he's this nice, kind, wise, protective master. I always think that way of him. Nute is a completely different character altogether, but he makes me laugh because he's such a coward. He's one of those guys that's always cowering in the background and making a lot of noise, acting up as though he is very big and strong and brave. But he is quite the opposite, and I adore him for that, because there is something dreadfully vulnerable about him.
