Bruce Beresford-Redman is a former American television producer who was arrested in April 2010 in Cancun, Mexico, and charged with murdering his wife, a Brazilian national, while they were on vacation with their two children. E-mails were later found to have been sent between him and casting director
Joy Pierce, revealing that they were having an affair. He was released from custody but in 2012 was extradited back to Mexico to stand trial. After a custody settlement with the sisters of his slain wife, his parents were given custody of his two children.
