Has been playing the drums since he was 4 yrs old.

He and DJ AM survived a horrific plane crash in which the pilot, co-pilot, and his personal assistant were killed. DJ AM would die of an accidental drug overdose at the age of 36 the following year.

Played with The Aquabats and occasionally filled in for Blink-182's drummer, Scott Raynor. After Raynor's exit in 1998, he was quickly asked to come aboard the Blink-182 ship.

Talking about his wife's pregnancy, Barker told People magazine in May 2005: "Hopefully it will be Christmas Eve. I'm hoping for a girl." His baby girl was later born on Christmas Eve.

Has 2 children: son, Landon Barker (b. October 9, 2003) & daughter, Alabama Barker (b. December 24, 2005) with ex-wife, Shanna Moakler.

Writes left-handed, but plays drums right-handed.

Created the clothing label Famous Stars and Straps, known for it's F logo.

Is also a member of the band, The Transplants.

Made a name for himself playing drums for the wacky ska band, The Aquabats, before leaving for the greener pasture that is Blink-182.

Teaches drum lessons.

In October 2021, Barker has been announced his engagement to actress Kourtney Kardashian.

Collects Cadillacs and old bikes.

In February 2005, Blink-182 announced plans for an "indefinite hiatus".

Shanna & Travis reconciled on January 7, 2009, but they split for good on April 1, 2009.

Was interviewed on the Kevin & Bean show on KROQ 106.7 in Los Angeles on the morning of January 22, 2018. He revealed he

Blink-182 ceased performing together in 2005, but they are now back together. They plan to tour and put out a new album this year. (février 2009)

Married Shanna Moakler in Santa Barbara during a Gothic ceremony inspired by their favorite film, Tim Burton's L'Étrange Noël de monsieur Jack (1993). Fellow Blinksters Mark Hoppus and 'Tom DeLonge' were his groomsmen.

Former vegetarian. Started eating red meat after surviving a plane crash. He is now vegan.
