At one point Arroyo owned all Spider-Man comic book titles in full. Sold entire collection 20+ years ago to help sustain acting career. Now only collects professionally graded high grade key comic books.

Was a member of the California Predators semi pro football team. His final play of his career was catching a 25 yard touchdown pass.

Makes it a point to once a year see on the big screen Lawrence d'Arabie (1962), 2001 : L'Odyssée de l'espace (1968), Le Parrain (1972), Raging Bull (1980) and other Hollywood classics with friends who has never seen the films before on the big screen.

Regularly works out, and enjoys taking boxing, gymnastics, yoga, and meditation classes.

Won a "Best Actor" Award for the role of Lucky in the film Adolescents of Chymera (2021) at the California Independent Film Festival.

Is a fan of James Dean, Marlon Brando, Jack Nicholson, Robin Williams, Christopher Reeve, Idris Elba, Bill Murrary, Ed Norton, Mads Mikelsen, Denzel Washington, Robert Downey Jr., Javier Bardem, and Michael B. Jordan.

Favorite TV shows... 30 Rock, Star Trek (TOS, TNG, DS9), Breaking Bad, Cheers, Game of Thrones (except the final 2 episodes), Veep, Daredevil (S.1-2-3), Mash, The Shield, The Crown , Battlestar Galactica (reboot), Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Walking Dead, Columbo and the NFL.

All time favorite superhero film is Richard Donner's Superman (1978).

A true cinephile, Arroyo's top ten films are: The Godfather, Lawrence of Arabia, Amadeus, All About Eve, Casablanca, Raging Bull, Mulholland Drive, City Lights, 2001: A Space Odyssey, and Das Boot among his all-time favorite films. His broader favorites also include Pulp Fiction, Superman: The Movie, The Empire Strikes Back, Barry Lyndon, Schindler's List, Patton, Tootsie, Excalibur, Saturday Night Fever, The Godfather Part II, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Platoon, Rebel Without a Cause, L.A. Confidential, Poltergeist, and Young Frankenstein.

Arroyo's top must read books are: The Mists of Avalon, The Long Ships, The Alchemist, Replay, Watership Down, Rich Dad Poor Dad, the Harry Potter series, Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Lonesome Dove, Many Lives, Many Masters, The Four Agreements, Conversations with God, The Choirboys, The World According to Garp, Stephen King's The Stand, It, 11/22/63 and Pet Sematary, and the many James Bond novels.

Performed all his own action and fight stunts for the Spike TV film Le prix du sang (2008).

Went sky diving with the Army's elite parachuting team, The Golden Knights. (2009).

Won the Vive Latino America "Best Actor" award for the role of Detective Christian Santos on the TV series Sangre Negra...Black Blood (2021) (2021).

Is a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Science (Emmys) where he produced, wrote and hosted a very successful live event for the TV Academy titled, "Hola: The Phenomenal Growth of Latino TV".

Won "Best Actor" for his character, Detective Rico Fisher, in the film The Last Smile (2016) (2017) at the Silicon Valley Film Festival.

Wrote, directed, produced, and starred in the comedy short film Bite! (2018), available on Amazon Prime, winner of 11 film festival awards (4 "Best Comedy" awards, 2 "Best Actor" and 1 "Best Director"). Based on a true story of when his home was invaded by bed bugs.
