Had a #1 Canadian hit record with "Bondi Junction," a song Foldy wrote about his childhood home in Australia. The record received 2 Juno Award nominations and also hit the Billboard Singles Charts in the USA. Foldy subsequently signed a recording contract with Capital/EMI (Canada) and was later signed by both Polydor Records and RCA Records in the US.
