I would have to say honestly I was very pleased to be in a film whether it was good or bad with De Niro, Norton and Brando even if I don't have any scenes with them, I thought it was pretty good company to keep.

[on Un vampire à Brooklyn (1995) I realized this film was a great opportunity to be in a terrific comedy yet not have to be responsible for the laughs. What a gift it was to be surrounded by incredible comedians.

[about making Vampire in Brooklyn] It was an interesting experience. When we made the film, we didn't really know what it was going to become. But Eddie [Murphy] was great, and it was this strange mix of comedy, horror, and drama. It was definitely a different kind of film.

There's something special about films that aren't understood or appreciated right away, but that find their audience later. It's often hard to predict what's going to become a cult film, but I think Vampire in Brooklyn has found its place in that genre.

I don't like elevators, I don't like being in small places. I worked with the dearly departed Wes Craven years ago for Vampire In Brooklyn and he had me in a coffin and closed up, so I get a little claustrophobic.
