- Was a Professional Wrestler.
- Worked as part time flight attendant for Aloha Airlines until 2002.
- Became a member of Team Kani in 1998 and competed internationally. She won titles and was inducted into the NBL Hall of Fame in 1999 and the Master Hall of Fame in 2000.
- When teaching in Camarillo, she met Bill M. Ryusaki who offered her a job teaching at his karate school in Chatsworth, California.
- Opened a karate school in La Costa, California in 1995 and sold her business in 1997 and moved to Los Angeles.
- Her sensei was Richard Rabago who trained her in traditional katas, sword, naginata, bo, and kamas.
