Blood Creek, a film by director Joel Schumacher, has been given poor treatment by distributors Lionsgate Films. Town Creek aka Blood Creek aka Creek was released to multiple, smaller theaters in September, and now the film has received an unpublicized official DVD release date (January 19). So, why the neglect of horror films by this studio? It seems that once management was changed at Lionsgate, awhile back, most of the horror titles were dumped and this includes Blood Creek. A film with a slick look and an intriguing story line, Blood Creek looks worthy of a view, despite the dismissal by Lionsgate.
