Rey Mysterio is regarded as one of the greatest luchadors in professional wrestling. He took the legacy of his predecessors and touched greater heights than was unimaginable for the size and stature of a wrestler like him.

The Master of the 619 made his debut in WWE in 2002. He began his rise to the top, battling opponents like Eddie Guerrero, Randy Orton, and Big Show. Four years after his debut, Rey Mysterio captured the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 22 in memorable fashion.

Although he left the company in 2015 and explored outside promotions, it was in 2018 that he returned, and since then, he has been a strong part of the active roster. In doing so, Rey Mysterio has wrestled 1500 matches in WWE, which is a historic feat for any superstar in the company.

Save The Music – formerly VH1 Save the Music, a nonprofit that supports music education in 285+ school districts nationwide – announced today that it will begin a new chapter as a fully independent nonprofit separate from Paramount Global.

An independent Save The Music will remain dedicated to its vision of every student in every school making music – by providing schools with instruments and technology, training and supporting teachers, and funding and convening community-based music organizations.

As part of this transition, Save The Music has launched a $10 million endowment fund, with nearly $4 million already raised. The new endowment will ensure the cultural institution’s sustainability and long-term support for music education, empowering future generations of students with access to the transformative power of making music.

The upcoming Peacock series, Teacup, has just received horror icon Stephen Kings seal of approval. King took to social media to give his take on the fast-approaching series.

This Halloween season, Teacup will be arriving on Peacock. So far, early reviews for the horror show have been positive, including some high praise from King on X. Major League Baseball legend Pete Rose has passed away. He was 83 years old.

Per TMZ, Rose died on Monday at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada. A cause of death was not specified, and the circumstances surrounding Rose's passing are currently unclear, However, his death was confirmed by his agent, Ryan Fiterman of Fiterman Sports, who noted that the family "is asking for privacy at this time."

Rose is best known for his accomplishments as a professional baseball player in the MLB. He is the all-time leader in hits with 4,256, and his other accolades include the Most Valuable Player Award, two Gold Gloves, and the Rookie of the Year Award. After playing for the Cincinnati Reds and the Philadelphia Phillies as a player, Rose would later serve as a manager for the Reds in the late 1980s. Despite his accomplishments, Rose was barred from the Hall of Fame resulting from gambling on baseball games.

Pro wrestler Kevin Sullivan has died, WWE shared in a statement Friday. The wrestling legend had been known to be in the hospital in the last few months, suffering complications after emergency surgery for a “devastating accident” in May, his family shared last month. He was 74 years old.

The wrestler’s family announced last month that he was in intensive care. Following the surgery that saved his leg, he faced complications including encephalitis and sepsis. A GoFundMe fundraising campaign for his care raised more than $50,000 with other wrestling industry notables donating, including Cody Rhodes, Mick Foley, Chris Jericho, Diamond Dallas Page, Tony Khan, Jim Cornette and others.

“WWE is saddened to learn Kevin Sullivan has passed away at age 74,” the company’s statement began. “A unique and influential figure in sports-entertainment history, Sullivan found success both in the ring and behind the scenes with his penchant for far out ideas that pushed creative boundaries.

Ian Riccaboni joined Tony and Nigel on commentary for Battle of the Belts. Toni took down Taya with a Thesz Press and grounded and pounded her with left and right fists! Storm smashed Taya with a running hip attack. Outside the ring, Taya lured Toni into the steel ring steps and charged at Toni with the meteora. Storm rallied back with a hip attack in the ring. Toni spiked Taya with a Ddt for a near fall. Taya slid beneath Storm and the bottom rope and nailed Toni with a German Suplex.

The Undertaker is the greatest of all time in the pro wrestling business. Though he had some flaws, his earnest efforts to give whatever he had made him one of the biggest names in the industry. Other than that, he was well-known for his work ethic and loyalty. He enjoyed a dream run of decades in WWE and never tried his hand at other promotions, unlike some other veterans. However, there was a moment when the legend almost jumped ship!

The phenom was a close friend of Vince McMahon, and it’s known to all how much the ex-boss of WWE loved him. For the last few weeks, several speculations have occurred about the Hardy brothers’ contract with Aew (All Elite Wrestling). As their contracts were set to expire, rumors about their WWE return became strong. At the present moment, Matt is associated with Tna (Total Nonstop Action) wrestling. He made his Tna return at the Rebellion pay-per-view after his contract with Tony Khan‘s Aew expired.

Just like Matt Hardy, even Jeff Hardy returned to Tna at Against All Odds.

Penta hit the Made in Japan on Vikingo, but Komander broke up the pin attempt. Vikingo flew out of the ring with a tope suicida crashing into Komander. Penta served up sling blades to Komander and El Hijo del Vikingo. Vikingo connected with a phoenix splash onto Komander for a near fall. Penta ran in with a foot stomp to Vikingo. My Thoughts: Always good to see Ashley D’Amboise in an Aew ring and on top of that we get the legend that is Maki Itoh in this match too! If I’m honest this one felt a little “off” – which can often occur when styles clash or aren’t as compatible as they could be.

My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Jericho Appreciation Society def. Mike Magnum, Jack Tomlinson, and Zack Clayton

My Thoughts: I’ve got to be honest, the Jas is getting really old now. And no disrespect to the trio involved in this match...

My Thoughts: It’s great to see some more Ddt talent making their way to the US and appearing in Aew – after all it worked out Great for Takeshita! Having the trio of Katsumata, Ueno and Mao face three long-standing and talented Aew veterans like The Butcher and The Blade and Kip Sabian made a lot of sense too. Shame the crowd wasn’t into this one though.
