She has served as a script writer on Ab Fab as well and helped write Girls on Top with French & Saunders, with Ullman throwing in on two episodes.

In the early 1980s 'making-of' documentary of Supergirl (1984), Helen Slater (Kara/Supergirl) screen tests with one Ruby Wax.

She was awarded an honorary OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) on 17 February 2016 at the Priory in Roehampton, Southwest London, England.

Was "attacked" by O.J. Simpson during his appearance on The Ruby Wax Show (1997). At the end of the episode, Simpson surprised Wax by "stabbing" her repeatedly with a banana while mimicking the theme music from Psychose (1960). (1998)
