  • When he was a student at London's Central School of Speech and Drama he won the Carlton Hobbs Award which included a contract with the BBC Radio Drama Rep in which he did 54 plays in 7 months.
  • He was In a sell out run of 'Art' in London's West End which he ended in early 2000 then went into rehearsals for a tv production of 'Lucky Jim' to be followed by a 6 part tv drama 'Shades with Dervla Kirwan/.
  • He made his name in 'Drop the Dead Donkey'.
  • He was in Busy Body, the first segment of the Black Cab series of 10 short films, which was written by actress Amelia Bullmore, who he'd worked with at Manchester's Royal Exchange Theatre.
