Dated Frank Sinatra who was godfather to her son, Trevor. Met Sinatra through her then-boyfriend, Harry Guardino.

She is the only female lead of the television series Chapeau melon et bottes de cuir (1961) not to appear in a James Bond film: Honor Blackman was in Goldfinger (1964), Diana Rigg and Joanna Lumley were both in Au service secret de Sa Majesté (1969).

Linda personally chose Chapeau melon et bottes de cuir (1961) character name of Tara King ("Tara" from Autant en emporte le vent (1939) and "King" from Pour l'exemple (1964)).

Awarded the 1993 Drama Logue Award for Performance in "Money and Friends" in presented by the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson at the James A. Doolittle (University of California) Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

Currently resides with son Trevor Boggs in New York City.

With the death of Diana Rigg on September 10, 2020, she is the last surviving regular cast member of Chapeau melon et bottes de cuir (1961).

Moved to London at age 16 to attend the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA) on scholarship. She later shortened her married name (by her first husband, Barry Bergthorson) as her stage name.
