Anecdotes
His first wife Barbara was brutally assaulted and shot in their Greenwich Village apartment while protecting her son from an intruder. St. John was summoned offstage during a performance of Timons Of Athens at Shakespeare In The Park to be informed about what happened. He took his son and moved out of New York to Mississippi where they lived with his family.
