Studied Leisure and Recreational Studies B.A.(hons) at West Midlands College of Higher Education in Walsall, West Midlands where he was an active member of the student drama group.

After he finished his course he was elected Student union President.

Combines acting with writing: his novel, The Gravedigger's Story, was published in 2004. He is currently working on his third (or perhaps his fourth) novel.

Hobbies: Bungee Jumping.
