- On his podcast, Rogan related how he ended up in sitcoms in Hollywood. After appearing as a stand up on MTV he got a development deal in Hollywood, auditioned for a baseball sitcom, and got the part. Thinking he was set, he signed a lease for an apartment in LA. But the sitcom, called Hardball, was cancelled after 6 episodes. Rogan wanted to leave LA but still had the apartment so he stayed. His next audition was for Newsradio and got that part as well, which lasted for almost 5 years.
