Isaacs, Ormond join 'La Conjura' cast
MADRID -- Jason Isaacs and Julia Ormond are slated to topline the period drama La Conjura de El Escorial, directed by Antonio del Real, Spanish production house Mascara Films announced Monday.
The film, to shoot in English and Spanish languages in Spain starting Sept. 10, is an historical thriller based on a true story during the reign of Spain's King Felipe II in 1578.
Germany's Rheingold Films, Italy's Settima Luna and Portugal's MGN Filmes join Spain's Mascara Films in the production, with Sony Pictures handling international distribution.
