His name is pronounced TAH-moe pen-ih-KET.

His father, John, is of British descent and his mother, Lulla, is an aboriginal Canadian from the White River First Nation in the Yukon.

His character Helo in the Battlestar Galactica miniseries was not supposed to return for the regular run of the show. Audience response to Helo was so strong the producers created an entire subplot for the character in the second series, set on the destroyed homeworld of Caprica.

Has been connected to the DC universe in 3 different roles. Played Vince Davis in S03 E15 Resurrection and Wes Keenan in S06 E19 Nemesis. Then he appeared in Man of Steel 2013 movie as Jed Eubanks.
