- Géza Pártos est né le 6 janvier 1917 à Budapest, Hongrie. Il était réalisateur et acteur. Il est connu pour Hüség (1964), Kocsonya Mihály házassága (1965) et Családi tüzhely (1968). Il était marié à Lamberger, Judit et Judit Zsolnai. Il est mort le 30 août 2003.

- Son Gabriel is a BBC World Service journalist, daughter Eszter Nordin a film and TV director.
- Often harrassed by the authorities because of his refusal to join the Communist party, he took the opportunity of the "thaw" to defect to the UK in 1969. He returned to Hungary in 1995
- Best known as a theatre director. After surviving the second World War and the Shoah, he became principal director of the Madach repertory theatre, Budapest.
