- Knut Nærum est né le 3 mars 1961 en Norvège. Il est scénariste et acteur. Il est connu pour Troll Hunter (2010), Døde menn går på ski (2024) et Øystein og meg (1997). Il est marié avec Marianne Smith. Lui et Marianne Smith ont deux enfants.

- Is a celebrated comedy-writer, TV-host, award winning cartoonist and an author.
- Met his future wife on stage in his youth. He played a man chasing a butterfly in the staging of Karel and Josef Capek's "Insect Life". She played the butterfly.
- Born in Arendal, Norway, he grew up in Halden, then studied and lived in Kristiansand before finally ending up in Oslo where he is living today with his wife and two children (born 1992 and 1994).
