American actor, choreographer, dancer and singer best known for playing 'Snowboy' in the 1961 musical West Side Story. Michaels started appearing in talent shows at the age of 11, earning the description "clever eccentric dancer" by the time he was twelve. By 1952, he had gained a position in the Dade County Ballet and in 1954 he played the part of "Iron in "Annie Get Your Gun" and the role of Paul in "Carousel" at the Palm Beach Playhouse.
