2002: Portrays Iris Wildthyme in the made-for-CD audio production "THE PLAGUE HERDS OF EXCELIS", part of Big Finish Productions' Adventures of Bernice Summerfield series, an audio spin-off of "Doctor Who" (1963) on which Manning co-starred in the 1970s.
Was in a relationship with actor Stewart Bevan who played Professor Cliff Jones on her final Doctor Who serial The Green Death. They remained good friends until Bevan's death in 2022.
