Had never been on a horse before being cast in Le Masque de Zorro (1998).

He has been noted to bear an uncanny resemblance to the comic book version of The Flash's arch-enemy Eobard Thawne/Reverse Flash whom he plays in ''The Flash (2014- )".

In season one of Flash (2014), he and Tom Cavanagh both play Reverse-Flash; he plays Eobard Thawne, while Cavanagh plays Reverse-Flash after he assumes Dr. Wells' identity. The two actors previously played father and son on Eli Stone (2008).

In his free time, Letscher does golf, hiking, fishing, biking, rock climbing and camping.

In an episode of Good Morning, Miami (2002), his character dressed up as The Flash for a Halloween party. Just over ten years later, he was cast in Flash (2014) as the The Flash's arch-enemy Eobard Thawne/Reverse Flash.

He's on a local celebrity softball team.

His younger brother, Brian Letscher, was a University of Michigan football player from 1990-1992 before becoming an actor himself. They both appeared on episodes of Scandal (2012), but never shared a scene.

His first professional job was in Jeff Daniels' play The Tropic Pickle in the second season of Daniel's Purple Rose Theater Company. Ron Maxwell saw the production during pre-production on Gettysburg: la dernière bataille (1993) and offered Letscher a role opposite Daniels as a union soldier. Letscher moved to Los Angeles after the filming to pursue work in TV based on the advice of Daniels, suggesting he'd get to the New York stage faster if he already had TV credentials--he starred on Broadway 4 years later. Letscher and Daniels have worked together on the Gettysburg prequel Gods and Generals (2003) and starred in Super Sucker (2002) (which Daniels also wrote/directed). In addition, Letscher returned to The Purple Rose Theater to star in the world premiere of Lanford Wilson's Rain Dance and staged the premiere of his first play, Sea of Fools (2007), which he also directed.

Has played both Ted Kennedy and his father Joe in separate projects.

Has played three characters with the last name Stone - Nat in Eli Stone (2008), Gavin in Good Morning, Miami (2002), and Guy in Straight-Jacket (2004).
