Fans speculate Deputy Parrish may be Isaac's long-lost brother, despite limited screen time together. Similar backgrounds between Parrish and Camden Lahey fuel theory, but age and timeline discrepancies arise. Isaac's lack of recognition and departure from Beacon Hills weakens connection to supposed brother Parrish.
A surprising theory connects two characters who supposedly have little to do with each other in Teen Wolf. Teen Wolfs main character is Scott McCall, but the MTV hit show boasts a large ensemble cast of characters that come and go. Two such supporting characters are Isaac Lahey (Daniel Sharman) and Deputy Jordan Parrish (Ryan Kelley). While the former is a werewolf and the latter a Hellhound, the two are members of Scott McCalls supernaturally diverse pack.

When it comes to recurring characters on Smallville, there's a long list of who might be considered the greatest. Discounting anyone who became a main cast member in the future, or maybe some of the other long-running characters introduced in the show's later years, one of the most memorable was introduced in the show's very first season: Ryan James. Played by future Teen Wolf star Ryan Kelley, Ryan was introduced first in the Season 1 episode "Stray" and only returned for the episode's sequel, "Ryan," the following season. Tom Welling's Clark Kent may never have had a biological or adoptive younger brother on Smallville, but Ryan was the closest thing to a surrogate the show ever gave us. On the long road to becoming Superman, the events of this Smallville two-parter helped shape Clark for the future and taught him the true meaning of a hero.

The MTV series Teen Wolf – which was loosely inspired by the 1985 comedy film Teen Wolf (watch our Awfully Good video on that movie Here) – wrapped up its six season run back in 2017, and back in January it got a feature film follow-up on the Paramount+ streaming service. (Read our review of Teen Wolf: The Movie at This Link.) Now Paramount+ is hoping that movie is going to rack up multiple Primetime Emmy Awards nominations.
Variety reports that the streaming service has submitted Teen Wolf: The Movie for Emmys consideration in the following categories: Outstanding Television Movie, Lead Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie (Tyler Posey), Directing (Russell Mulcahy), Writing, Prosthetic Makeup and Original Music and Lyrics (“Lemon” by Tyler Posey).
Since Posey was also a producer on the film, Variety notes that these submissions give him three chances to earn an Emmy nod.

Warning: Contains spoilers for Teen Wolf: The Movie
Teen Wolf: The Movie picks up the story more than a decade after Teen Wolf’s original ending, but the movie would have been much better as a show. Teen Wolf: The Movie brings Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) and most of his pack back together to take on the Nogitsune (Aaron Hendry) once more. Out for revenge, the Nogitsune instigated Allison Argent’s (Crystal Reed) resurrection to tear the pack apart and kill Scott, only to be thwarted by the pack’s belief in one another. Teen Wolf: The Movie’s ending is both tragic and hopeful, as Scott and Allison get a second chance at love, and the next generation of the Hale family is set to take center stage.

Creator Jeff Davis is teasing a possible sequel to Teen Wolf: The Movie starring Derek's son, Eli. A continuation of the popular MTV series, Teen Wolf, the supernatural drama premiered on Paramount+ on January 26. It follows Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) as he travels back to Beacon Hills to assist Chris Argent (Jr Bourne) in carrying out a ritual that would seemingly allow Allison's (Crystal Reed) soul to cross over. However, complications arise when Allison gets brought back to life, along with the Nogitsune, who begins manipulating her. While there was excitement over seeing a number of characters return in Teen Wolf: The Movie, it was a surprise to learn that Derek Hale (Tyler Hoechlin) had a child, and that he played a significant role throughout.
Portrayed by Vince Mattis, Eli spends a majority of the Teen Wolf movie avigating his relationship with Derek and struggles with the idea of being a werewolf.

Paramount+ has spooked up two hits with debuts “Teen Wolf: The Movie” and “Wolf Pack,” both of which hail from MTV Entertainment Studios, creator Jeff Davis (who’s under a multi-year deal at the studio) and MGM.
The former — a film revival of the beloved 2011 young-adult supernatural series that reunites a majority of the cast, including stars Tyler Posey and Tyler Hoechlin — broke the streamer’s record for the most-watched original move in the first day of its debut.
The latter, which stars and is executive produced by Sarah Michelle Gellar, marked the platform’s most-viewed YA show since the “iCarly” reboot, making it the No. 2 YA series premiere overall in its first 24 hours.

Teen Wolf: The Movie is a movie directed by Russell Mulcahy starring Tyler Posey, Crystal Reed and Holland Roden.
This is a film produced by MTV especially oriented for teenagers and which features elements of recent successes and scenees from similar horror movies.
Enjoyable for its audiencde and intelligently “designed” (its production).
About the Movie
Films like Teen Wolf: The Movie, have their day. In mine we had the original Teen Wolf with Michael J. Fox and I enjoyed it equally with all its obvious lackings. It works for its audience and knows how to please its viewers, having done so generation after generation in MTV and in its speciality MTV is a master with plots that are especially thought out for segments of people in their twenties and with just enough complexity to not stand apart.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Teen Wolf: The Movie.] No, there’s no undoing that tragic ending for one of the main werewolves of Teen Wolf in the Paramount+ film. Teen Wolf: The Movie saw Scott (Tyler Posey), Derek (Tyler Hoechlin), Lydia (Holland Roden), a resurrected Allison (Crystal Reed), and their friends go up against the nogitsune and Oni, due to puppet-master Harris’ (Adam Fristoe) work, and in order to win, a sacrifice had to be made. In order to hold the Nogitsune still for hellhound Parrish (Ryan Kelley) to kill him, Derek sacrificed himself and was burned up as well. Scott and Allison took in his son, Eli (Vince Mattis). Creator Jeff Davis explains that decision. Talk about the decision to kill Derek. Why and why in the way that you did? Jeff Davis: Killing Derek wasn’t something that we came to lightly. It was a big decision, and I always feel...

TV cancellations are even more regular than a full moon these days, so there’s something to be said for Teen Wolf‘s almost animalistic tenacity. Hailing from the days when shows actually reached six seasons, MTV’s soft reboot of the ‘80s movie was canceled after a mammoth 100 episodes in 2017.

In its heyday, Teen Wolf was massively popular and one of MTV's few successful scripted dramas, which led to the series getting its very own film continuation in Teen Wolf: The Movie. Based very loosely on the 80s movie of the same name, Teen Wolf managed to find lightning in a bottle with its charming and charismatic young cast, who brought to life the increasingly ludicrous supernatural world of Beacon Hills with tremendous heart. Now, the former teens are reuniting as adults and, along with creator Jeff Davis, seeing if they can replicate that same spirit. Teen Wolf: The Movie tries to capture the magic of the original show, but though many original cast members returned, it falls short of the mark.

Guess who's back, back again? "Teen Wolf" is back, and you should definitely tell your friends because there is a lot to be excited about. The beloved MTV series is getting the movie treatment with "Teen Wolf: The Movie" debuting in January, and the first trailer gives us the full scope of what we can expect from this nostalgia-heavy supernatural reboot.
First off, what exactly brings us back to Beacon Hills fifteen years after the final season of "Teen Wolf"? It appears that the Oni — the neutral demon warriors from season 3 of the show — have returned to the northern California town, and no one knows why. Naturally, this brings our favorite alpha, Tyler Posey's Scott McCall, back into town, and he summons the majority of supernatural crew from the days of yore to reunite and fight.

Eleven years ago, Jeff Davis took the basic concept of the 1985 comedy film Teen Wolf (watch our Awfully Good video on that movie Here) and turned it into a supernatural teen drama series for MTV. The show ran for six seasons, wrapping up in 2017. Five years later, much of the show’s cast has been brought back together for the Teen Wolf franchise’s return to the world of feature films, a project appropriately titled Teen Wolf: The Movie. Smallville actors Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum reveal their reactions to the shocking deaths in season 1, episode 16. A Superman origin story famously following a "no tights, no flights" rule, Smallville focused on Clark Kent's (Welling) small-town life before he became the Man of Steel. The series debuted on the WB (now known as the CW) in 2001 and ran for an impressive 10 seasons, airing more than 200 episodes. Smallville, which saw Clark learn to harness his superpowers while dealing with life as a teenager, earned a passionate fan base and spawned a DC franchise that has continued on the CW with the Arrowverse.
Smallville included a cast of compelling characters, including series villain Alexander 'Lex' Luthor (Rosenbaum), who started out as one of Clark's close friends. In addition to the regular cast, the show had some fascinating recurring characters, including numerous metahumans who had gained powers from various sources such as the kryptonite meteor.

We are so ready to head back to Beacon Hills after that trailer, Teen Wolf fans.
Paramount+ today revealed the official teaser trailer for Teen Wolf: The Movie during the film’s Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con.
The teaser trailer teases some big returns, but one that is sure to get the fans talking is the return of Allison Argent.
Allison died on Teen Wolf Season 3, but it sounds like there's a reason for her miraculous return from the dead.
"Allison, she's alive," we see Scott telling her father in an emotionally-charged scene.
Understandably, there will be plenty of questions surrounding how -- and why -- she's back.
Hopefully, the writers have some answers that work when telling such a tale.
The movie was written and executive produced by Jeff Davis.
The film will stream exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S., Canada, U.K. and internationally, where the service is available.

One of the biggest reveals of the trailer came in the final moments, when Crystal Reed’s character Allison returns from the dead.

I mostly have ideas but I always said if I was gonna do a movie, I would bring back Allison.’ She texted back and said that she burst into tears. She was in from that moment.”

Tyler Hoechlin is reprising his role as Derek Hale for the upcoming Paramount+ film “Teen Wolf The Movie.”
Hoechlin played the character of Derek, one of many fan favorites from the MTV show, from 2011-2014 on the series and again for a trio of episodes in 2017. He’ll also serve as a producer on the film from MTV Entertainment Studios and MGM’s Orion Television. Tyler Posey is also a producer.
Here’s the official logline for the film, which is a sequel of sorts to the series: “A full moon rises in Beacon Hills and with it a terrifying evil has emerged. The wolves are howling once again, calling for the return of Banshees, Werecoyotes, Hellhounds, Kitsunes, and every other shapeshifter in the night. But only a Werewolf like Scott McCall (Posey), no longer a teenager yet still an Alpha, can gather both new allies and reunite trusted friends...

No Derek, no problem!
Paramount+ dropped a flurry of casting announcements for its in-production Teen Wolf Movie on Friday afternoon.
Of the announcements, the biggest shocker is that Derek Hale's son, Eli Hale, will be a part of the drama.
Vince Mattos has landed the role, but there's still no confirmation on whether Tyler Hoechlin will return.
Speaking of the Hale family, Ian Bohen has closed a deal to return as Peter Hale.
Bohen is currently starring opposite Hoechlin on Superman & Lois, and that might be the closest thing to a reunion between the two stars we'll be getting.
Khylin Rhambo is also returning as Mason Hewitt, while new cast members include Amy Lin Workman as Hikari Zhang and Nobi Nakanishi as Deputy Ishida.
The cast of the movie includes Posey as Scott, Holland Roden as Lydia Martin, Hennig as Malia, Crystal Reed as Allison, Orny Adams as Coach Bobby Finstock,...
