Natural son of Maria Infante de Lacerda (b. Lisbon, ca. 1945, d. 2010). He only met his English father Jonathan when he was 34.

Natural maternal grandson of Renée Lance Infante de Lacerda (b. Sacramento, Lisbon, 19 February 1918), daughter of the 5th Baron of Sabroso Nobleman of Coat of Arms of Correia de Aguiar (crest), da Silva and de Sousa of the Lords of the Prado, de Sousa of the Lords of Prado, Correia de Aguiar (crest) and da Silva and Sobrinho with crown of Baron, of a Portuguese father of some French and Spanish Peruvian ancestry, and wife a French mother.
