- Willie is upset to learn that no industry executives attended his concert, and Carl tries to ameliorate things by suggesting they produce a music video. Lenny and Stella's son's behavior at school precipitates a sit-down with his teacher. Meanwhile, Hannah and Molly secretly text each other in school about Molly's date with Shane.
- Molly and Hannah skip school again and hang out at the Farmers Market, unaware that the taxi driver/rapist is on the loose in the area. Meanwhile, Dan the Weatherman is concerned that daughter Hannah does not like him and doesn't realize that Andy is scheming to get him fired in order to steal his job.

- The coked-up Stella gets nabbed shoplifting, and Lenny, who has a checkered past of his own, shows little support. Meanwhile, Dan goes out of his way again to embarrass Andy on TV, but takes him out for a drink afterward. Elsewhere, Hannah and her crew party it up at a local strip club.
- A series of flashback video sequences show a frightening view of the Iraq War that is seen through Ron's helmet camera, revealing his background story and the trauma of war that left him with PTSD and unable to speak. Meanwhile, Tom winds up in jail and uses his one phone call to call Stella, who is currently at a family birthday party.
- The hostility between Molly and Hannah reaches its climax when Molly finally learns that Hannah and Shane have been seeing each other behind her back when she discovers the sex video on Shane's camcorder. Meanwhile, Dan's recent indiscretion comes back to haunt him after the video of him getting a blow-job is sent to the TV station.
- After getting kicked out of a strip club, three of the teens (the mall security guards) head out to play paintball. Meanwhile, Tom, the auto mechanic and Stella's lover, meets with her at a seedy motel where they continue their shameless affair with Stella using Tom for sex and Tom using Stella for both sex and drugs.
