- A quiz show hosted by Dutch comedian Richard Groenendijk, who in each episode gets to quiz and mock four contestants, each of whom has selected a specialist subject area. The winner gets to own Richard's coveted Big Brass Mug.
- Ilja Gort (Amersfoort, 5 January 1951) is a Dutch writer, winemaker and presenter who lives alternately in the Netherlands and France. Gort was successful in composing advertising tunes until 2000, after which he devoted himself to writing books and making wine.
- De slimste mens (translation: "the smartest human/person) is a trivia game show, in which famous Dutch people need to answer trivia questions correctly, with three people competing each episode. For every question they answer correctly, they gain seconds that tick away during the time the questions are asked. There are several different rounds, for example, a puzzle round and a round with pictures about a certain topic. The two people with the least amount of seconds go into the final round, in which each question answered correctly reduces the amount of seconds of the opponent. The finalist that has no seconds left loses and can not return to the next episode. In the final week the best players compete against each other and "the smartest person" wins.

Ex-model Kim Kötter seems to breeze through the experience, but Patrick Lusink gradually loses the struggle with homelessness and quits after three days. The other two fare somewhere inbetween. The show ends with each of the remaining contestants being reunited with their loved ones, and a short interview a month later.
