- Billy West comes to a dance hall and looks for a job. The Proprietor throws him out. He comes back again - buys a glass of beer and has no money to pay for it. The Proprietor again throws him out. The third time - he's in again, and then the Proprietor hires him for a dancer, as the dancer who is supposed to dance, has been taken sick. He is then made to take the place of a prize fighter, as the man who was supposed to fight that night, fails to show up. In the meantime, the villain comes in with a young girl and Billy protects her.
- It is the year 1950; women have taken over men's jobs and have become the aggressors in romantic situations. Lizzie Hap stuffs the ballot box, defeats her opponent, Minnie Fish, and is thereby elected Fire Chief of the all female fire department, and succeeds in winning the hand of her fair loved one, Willie Wart.
- A couple of auto enthusiasts advertise their desire to own a car in the newspaper. A lawyer of dubious standing persuades them to purchase his vehicle. He then orders his henchman to lie underneath their car and sustain not too serious injuries when the nuts drive over him. The lawyer convincingly disguises himself as a police officer with a mustache, but the husband uncovers the plot by ripping off the hair piece. The lawyer kidnaps the wife, but after a car chase, the husband rescues her.
- Four men are out rabbit hunting and encounter a beautiful young lady, who promises to marry the first one who brings her a white rabbit.
- Billy is mistaken for a dangerous Bolshevik, and thrown into jail.

The climax of the movie follows her attempt to serve as a witness to the marriage of two students.
