The film portrays the unexpected incidents happening over two days in the life of an oversees returned, middle class family man Jitya Bhau in a the small town city of Maharashtra.

The making of such films bring a freshness to the Indian movie scene. That said, some of them lack a strong storyline and this happens to be failing of this "Freaky Chakra" too. "Freaky Chakra" is the story of a lady and the vicious circle of life that she leads. The story has a novel presentation style done by Ranvir Shorie where he introduces the characters one after another and talks to the audience from time to time. It is funny at times like where we see a character about to swallow bills and Ranvir butts in with " oops Typo :Pills, pills ... not bills"!

Preman faces strange and unexpected events in his flat and decides to write a story about his flatmates. His life changes when the characters in his book develop personalities of their own.

Lack of love sours the relationship between a father and his son. A similar fate is also met by a couple who do not love each other.

The film's story revolves around Abhiman Marathe, who works as an executive officer in an MNC in Mumbai. The 25-year-old, who is earning big bucks, falls in love with his colleague Suniti Singh, a beautiful Manipuri girl. However, life takes a 180 degree turn for Abhiman, when he hears a corrupt and dishonest cabinet minister, disrespecting India's most revered freedom fighter Veer Savarkar. The young patriot sets out to teach the politician a lesson but is deterred by his family, friends and office colleagues. In order to accomplish his mission, he also resigns from his high paying job. In his fight against the corrupt leader, he is joined by a downtrodden youth Suryakant Pawar, his girlfriend Suniti and another young man from Konkan, Kranti Kamble. Later, when he starts using social media to spread awareness about his mission, he receives an overwhelming response from the youth of the nation, which in turn gives him huge media coverage that enables him to reach out to a much wider audience. Abhiman's journey to fight for Savarkar's honour starts in Mumbai and concludes in New Delhi.
