- In a town in Turkey, a young couple looks for some privacy. They are rejected from the hotels because they do not have a marriage certificate. When they think they have found a way, the situation gets out of hand.
- The Photograph-Women are gathered in front of the Ministry of the Interior and the Italian Embassy in Tunis. They are holding photographs of their sons, husbands and brothers. All of them have disappeared while emigrating by boat to Europe during the Arab Spring. Among these women is Om El Khir Ouirtani. The film follows her private and public life as mother of three and member of the association La Terre Pour Tous, as she strives to find what happened to her husband and take care of her family.
- Emma Goldman is called in the night to help deliver a baby in a poor Jewish family of Brooklyn, with many mouths to feed. She tries to alleviate the suffering of the woman in labour. Back home, she is confronted by her partner Ed, exhausted by her absences. Forced to choose between her love for him and her activism, she writes the influential speech "The Tragedy of Woman's Emancipation" (1906).
- Ada, a 17-year-old teenager faces social pressures from her family while she pursues her first summer romance. Things take a turn for the worst when her carefree cousin arrives.
- Midyan, a Syrian refugee is on the run from his war torn country. His unbearable hunger forces him to start eating his belongings. Though these strange meals do not give him stomach aches, the side effects are monstrous.
