Young Haylee has been dealing with her borderline personality disorder through promiscuity and other behavioral methods to fulfill her neurotic disorder. After meeting Vic, who has a baggage of his own, she's now battling the reality of keeping her disorder under control in order to have a real relationship. The side effects that she starts to have are more than just complications from her medications.

After moving to a new town for a fresh start, her past continues to hunt her, until she's forced to face them head on. In each episode, First evolves throughout each episode and she becomes an independent strong protagonist as she finds new ways to defeat her antagonists.
