Very scatter brain comedy, the plot doesn't generate any humour. It just sets up scenes where they rely heavily on verbal comedy and the actors to make it work. A lot of things went wrong in this movie. The pace was inconsistent, the editing was poor, the jokes didn't land at all. The direction and overall vibe of the movie felt like a 2 hour marimayam episode(The writers of. A great cast wasted on a lackluster below average film.
This is the kinda rom com even rom com fans avoid I feel. Nothing feels real or charming except the incredibly attractive leads of the movie. Writing is very corny and on the nose.
The only thing that kept me going till the end was Sydney Sweeney.
There is a bit in this movie about how the friends and family of the main characters (Ben and Bea) pretend to have conversations within their earshot to set them up together, it's one of the silliest things I have ever seen. They even say so in the movie itself but it's not gonna stop me from calling out how poorly that was executed.
Initially wanted to give this movie a 4 but thanks to this movie I discovered Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield.
5/10.

The Fall Guy is such a fun movie through and through. This film is hard carried by Ryan Gosling and his incredible charisma and on screen chemistry with Emily Blunt. Their scenes together were electric and their dialogues bounced off each other like a tennis ball.
The writing was incredibly funny and the lines were well delivered, although a bit cliché at several points, i felt drawn into the plot and was hooked the entire time. The action was amazing, the stunt choreo was impressive ( ya doy). This was a fun movie.
Honorary Mention - Winston Duke was a great addition to the cast and played his role perfectly if not better than perfect.
