I can see people trashing this movie on various aspects but I loved this and it's not at all a bad movie and I loved maybe because I love the asynchronous screenplays and slow paced dramas. People were expecting some horror and this movie delivered something beyond their expectations. But there is a lot in the movie to admire. In few scene the reddish tone that was used for portraying revenge and blood was overdone and could've been avoided. There was not any other visual flaw there. The background music was good in pieces.

Everything was revealed and explained in the climax but this is not a unique story neither the revelation is unexpected. But the way screenplay unfolded was quite good. Most of people must have guessed it already halfway through the movie. The debutant director, Anvita Dutt failed to deliver the best horror movie of the year, which this movie had potential of, only if it would've designed and presented properly. But a one time watch won't harm your IQ either.

Indian movies has basically two stories, like writing an essay, an introduction part and then conclusion part, which is the movie post-interval, unlike hollywood or movies on streaming platforms. It's quite tough for Indian filmmakers to adapt this change.

Here Ruchi Narain, failed to keep the audience engaged throughout. Mid-movie, it all starting to seem like a dragged plain narrative,and she just escalated it with a 'twist' for which the audience is not prepared at all because of the slow pace of the movie.

With all the interrogation scenes in the 'first half' of the film, it looked like there is too much in it to get revealed but Alas!!. All the permutations and combination were cleared already in the first half itself.

This movie tried very hard to be 'Article 375' with the plot similar to 'Judgemental hai kya?' but failed miserably. The only couple of good thing about this movie atr the performances and cinematography. If you're really craving for something refreshing you can pick other titles from the Netflix else this is just one time watch.

Haven't you already watched Gabbar is Back? If yes, then there is no need to watch this one. I hope you're already inspired from that movie because you're not going to watch anything different in this. A happy go lucky person turned vigilante and started killing corrupts(only cops in this case) because consequences of their actions. Moreover, you're going to hear some very cringy dialogues. A lot of melodramatic sequences, and bad acting from the antagonists while John is taking the sh*t out of them. Not giving you spoilers but obviously, there has to be a back story why did John's character started killing cops and that too is not convincing enough to believe. And what's the point in making a movie on same concept with less logical approach and still expecting audience to like it because you just released it on Independence Day.
