As one that grew up during the Reagan administration and whose parents were very involved with politics, I can easily state that this movie captured the spirit of the Reagan administration perfectly. The reenacted televised parts were expertly crafted down the pins on the coats. The scenes that were reenacted from closed door meetings and personal interactions captured the spirit of that which was being reported in the newspapers and magazines of the time.

Dennis Quaid's intensity while giving speeches and interviews is just as I remembered them. It was his intensity of love for the American people that drew me to watching every speech he gave.

While there were those that didn't like President Reagan, they were a very small minority. Remember, he won all but one state against Walter Mondale.

It's not a bad movie. Nevermind, I just looked up the word bad. It is a bad movie. The acting is forced and seems unrehearsed. As if they were handed scripts and said, "You have 30 minutes to learn it and figure out the scenes." But rather than learn the script, the actors got high and practiced bad Chicano accents. The actor that plays "the boyfriend" has horrible lines and delivers them in an uneven rude manner. The cinematography makes bad pornos look like Ben Hur. The movie would have been a lot better if more or better comedy writers had been involved and the "boy friend" played by an actor. If you want to see something funny from the creator of this movie, watch the YouTube shorts he puts out. That's what the movie should have been about.

This movie is action packed and emotional. If you love cars, especially race cars, you'll love this movie.

A father that doesn't understand his young sons obsession with GT. A loving mother that supports her son no matter the cost. An older brother bread for greatness in a traditional sport. And a young man that knows in his heart there is a future in PlayStation Grand Turismo. All these worlds collide in an action packed, high adrenaline emotional film.

Jann Mardenborough is a young 20-something gamer that spends more time playing Grand Turismo than his father would like. One day Jann receives a message that he's been selected to GT Academy.

Jann and the other wannabe drivers are put through the paces to be offered a chance to race for Nissan. After several grueling workouts and amateur races, Jann emerges victorious.

Jann is now an outcast racer in a field of tried and true professional racers. After a deviating crash, Jann must find his nerve again to push himself to the limits.

After several races and a qualifier, Jann is set for Le Mans 24 hour race in France. Here Jann is pushed to his breaking point. It's only Jann, his determination and the car.

The film ends on an emotional high. Hard nosed pit crew soften to Jann and family members embrace their son's new life as a professional race car driver.
