Second part of "Masters of Air" was a pretty good one, but it is missing more involving characters. I do understand that this series isn't going to be as brutal and dirty as "Band of Brothers", because it focuses on different aspects of war - air combat. But still watching first two episodes it occurred to me that everything here is a bit too shiny and clean looking. It's not a bad thing, only it lacks the grittiness of war. While acting is solid here, i do miss more interesting characters and dialogs. I don't need to be entertained by nonsense that didn't happen, but still something is missing here.

"Nosferatu" (2024) is a movie written and directed by Robert Eggers. He previously made some very stylish and moody films like "The Lighthouse", "The Northman". In case you have enjoyed those works, you will most like enjoy "Nosferatu" as well, because this film is pure Robert Eggers. This film is very well made in terms of set designs, costumes, make up effects, cinematography. Pacing on the other hand is not its strongest aspect - this film takes its time to tell a story. Acting by Lily-Rose Depp was amazing - she stole the film in my opinion. And while some might call it overacting, this type of acting is common in Robert Eggers films - it creates style of the film. The thing i missed in this film the most was Nosferatu himself. I mean his scenes are good, voice acting was great, but there wasn't really that much of a character - he is more like a screen presence here.
Overall, "Nosferatu" is in part with other Robert Eggers films. Those who are looking for a horror movie here will not find one in common way. But those who enjoyed previous films from this director will find another film in same style. Its a good film, but not his best yet.

"They Live" (1988) is a fun and entertaining B-action horror, satirical film. It was made by a legendary filmmaker John Carpenter. The first time i saw this film only in 2025 after i bought a 4K UHD disk - this film looks stunning on this format.
One shouldn't take this film very seriously, as it's basically a camp - but done in a very well way. At running time 1 h 30 min this film expertly paced. I did like acting here by main actor. Music was good composed by John Carpenter.
Overall, "They Live" is a product of its era, and it's a good one. Its plot is very relevant even today in 2025. The satire about consumption, obey of rules in order for rich to become even richer is never will outdated. This film is a blast if you are in mood for it.
