The segue from dialog to song and back out left me wondering "Is that it?"
Glad I went and still enjoyed it, but it was kinda boring and disappointing, but not as bad as the most recent Mary Poppins, which was so flat even though both are visually stunning.
I was put off by the Tin Man's anger, the Scarecrow's low energy, and the Lion's single dimension.

My wife was a OR RN for 40 years. Part of that was 17 years of weekends with the accompanying drama. She says this is the closest to reality she has seen. Way too heavy on the Social Justice themes. In reality no one cares what color, sex, gender, or ethnicity you are. The personalities and interpersonal drama are very familiar to her. Some of the tech aspects are off, but overall quite good.
She gives it 9 instead of 10 for SJW garbage.

I've been living in Texas since 1958. I've lived from the Panhandle to the Lower Rio Grande Valley to the East Texas piney woods to Dallas to near Houston.
The accents in the show are horrible. With the exception of country music singers, no one sounds like these people.
On that alone you have watch this dreck realizing that it is one over-the-top stereotype after another.
There are no awe inspiring rivers in Texas, either.
