The background stories are somewhat interesting and one adds some value to the relationship between two soldiers. Lots of fluff and time killing as you'd imagine useful in any war movie, but little factual substance, if you're seeking some historical info on this failed battle strategy. Some of the interaction between enemies highlights the "times" of that era when even the common man could be a gentleman. Discussions between high ranking officers could've been of a better grade than depicted and more of them to understand what the units were, where placed, and why. And they did NOT have filtered cigarettes in 1915.
Definitely NOT Mae's voice for Olive. Probably Bonnie Poe as she did others at this period. Other episodes and Betty Boop was Bonnie's voice. Is this 150 characters yet?
