Believing Gotham City to be a modern-day Thebes, King Tut, the King of the Nile decides to take it over and make it his own; he arrives in the middle of Gotham's Central Park inside a gigantic Sphinx, and then announces his demands - including the deaths of Batman and Robin. The Dynamic Duo attempt to break into the Sphynx, but they soon become involved in a fight with Tut's 'Tutlings', Nefertiti, Vizier and Scrivener.

Bruce Wayne then visits the Egyptian exhibit at the Gotham Museum amid much publicity, hoping that this will give him an opportunity to trap Tut and his henchmen. However, when the tour is underway, an ancient mummy comes to life and causes the crowd to flee in terror. Bruce calls for a doctor but the ambulance that arrives is driven by Tut's henchmen. They lure Bruce out into the hallway and sedated. Placed in a gurney, he's spirited away in a ambulance -

Having managed to escape his confines, Bruce Wayne still strapped to the gurney is heading towards an incomplete bridge with a 300ft drop.

What a cliffhanger! What happens before this is quite intriguing and bizarre with an Egyptian statute in the middle of the park and a voice emanating from it, saying it will take over Gotham. Well, King Tut will. Victor Buono is perfectly cast as Tut. Solid episode.

Batman evades the attacking tiger thanks to his utility belt. First, he scales the wall. Then, he uses a sonic device "to split the tiger's skull.", subduing the ferocious animal.

The caped Crusader still has to free Robin, who is facing a separate death trap. Once that task is completed, the Dynamic Duo are back on Catwoman's trail. It turns out the feline villain is after the lost treasure of Captain Manx, which is in a remote spot outside of Gotham City.

A neat conclusion in this second part featuring that feline menace. After setting traps for Batman and Robin she heads to the cave to look for some treasure- Batman and Robin are soon in pursuit, after figuring out Catwoman's next move, and dodges some bombs en route to the cave. Nice cave setting and Batman showing some heart to the villainess by attempting to pull her out as she clings to the edge- however, will he manage to save her or will she plunge to her doom? Find out ....

Catwoman (Julie Newmar) initiates a series of thefts that cause Commissioner Gordon to summon Batman and Robin. But the importance of the crimes go beyond the taking of the objects involved.

The Dynamic Duo eventually find Catwoman's lair, thanks to a device they place in a statue the Catwoman steals. But end up in a room with spikes that is closing on to them - but the spikes are rubber tipped - the Catwoman was teasing ...

Robin is then whisked away while Batman is given a choice between two doors. If he picks the right door, he'll find Catwoman. If he picks the wrong one, he'll face certain doom. The hero makes the wrong selection and is about to be attacked by a tiger.

Julie Newmar makes her first appearance as the slinky feline menace, and makes a great adversary for Batman as shown here in this solid entry. Loved the twists in the plot and the way Cat-woman mentally tortures with possible devices.
