I thought that only comedies were being transferred from stage to screen in the seventies but obviously not.
This is an appalling film which should have been left where it belonged. Though why anybody would want to see this bad take on Don't Look Now is rather beyond belief.
Hemmings rather ran his career into the ground with this rubbish.

I can only assume that the Danzigers were trying to exploit the success of the TV show The Army Game. Howevet this film was made in 1959 at the Danzigers Gate Studios in Wembley,but it was not finally shown till 1962 by which time The Army Game had finished and National Service was coming to end..
This film labours under an extremely unfunny script.
I know that when I watch any film produced by the British Film Institute that I am going to have a problem viewing till the end, and so it proved in this case.when a film is as dull and boring as this it is impossible to keep your concentration so that rapidly you loose the plot. Also that low rumbling noise on the soundtrack becomes an infernal nuisance.
